ATOmate announces latest integration partnership with global document management platform iManage
Australian-based software automation platform ATOmate has announced their latest integration partner, joining forces with iManage to help streamline the ATO document management process from start to finish.
Business Automation Works, the team behind ATOmate, have been working tirelessly over the past 12 months to provide a comprehensive range of document and practice management integration options for accountants looking to streamline their administrative processes and automate repetitive tasks. The platform’s list of integration partners continues to grow with the latest addition of iManage.
Developed in collaboration with leading iManage partner OIA, the integration will allow some of the largest accounting firms in Australia using the document management platform to speed up their ATO document processing by over 90%.
Those practices using both iManage and ATOmate will be able to significantly reduce data entry, double handling, and opportunities for human error by automating the core components of the ATO document handling process.
Upon receipt of ATO documentation by mail or via the ATO Tax Agent Portal, ATOmate will sort all correspondence, check if it matches against an estimate from the practice management platform, and then either automatically send it to the client, or flag it for review, depending on rules set by the practice.
The integration with iManage allows for a more streamlined approach to drafting, sending, and archiving correspondence by automatically preparing emails and letters, and filing copies of those directly back into the iManage platform – providing a complete and accurate record of what has been communicated.
Stan Corner, CEO of Business Automation Works, said the company has been working hard to provide comprehensive integrations to leading industry practice and document management platforms.
“We know every accounting firm is different, but regardless of the software you’re using you need to be able to get these important ATO documents processed and into the hands of your clients faster, our aim is to support the industry by providing integrations to a wide range of world class options,” Mr Corner said.
“Our latest integration with iManage means that more practices across the country can now streamline their ATO document processes by leveraging their existing systems, getting important ATO correspondence to clients sooner, and having more time to focus on work that clients truly value” Mr Corner said.
Jeff Andersen, Director of OIA, agrees, saying the integration is great news for iManage clients across Australia.
“We know the ATO document handling process is time consuming, so being able to dramatically reduce handling time and potential for human error by integrating with ATOmate is a big win for accountants across Australia who choose iManage to support their business,” Mr Andersen said.
In addition to the iManage document management integration, ATOmate integrates with a range of complementary industry leading practice management platforms to further streamline ATO document process, including: APS, Xero Practice Manager, Workflow Max, Great Soft, MYOB, Reckon Elite, Sage Handisoft and others.
